  • Bike to Work
For nearly 30 years, Ecology Action has been organizing the Bike to Work program in Santa Cruz County. The program happens every May and October and now represents the largest sustainable transportation event in the region and serves a combined total of over 13,000 residents every year.

  • Watsonville Slough Walking Trails
The City of Watsonville’s nature trails provide easy public access to this 800 acre freshwater wetland. More than seven miles of paved trails and 29 trail entrances in Watsonville neighborhoods offer new opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of our special wetlands for recreation and relaxation. The trails are free to use and open every day in every season. Joggers, hikers, cyclists and birders are welcome to access any of the trails.  Several trails are wheelchair accessible; please see trail maps for appropriate entrances.

  • Parks Near You
Check out http://findrecreation.parks.ca.gov. This easy to use, interactive map allows you to search for camping facilities, trails and open-space recreation opportunities from the smallest neighborhood park to the largest national park.
